2a: no household member has completed 5 years of schooling
2b: any child is out of school in years 1 to 8
3a: household does not have electricity
3b: drinking water does not meet MDG definition or is at more than 30 minutes walk
3c sanitation does not meet MDG definition or is shared
3d: floor is dirt, sand or dung
3e: cook with wood, charcoal or dung
3f: do not own more than one of: radio, tv, telephone, bike, motorbike

1 and 2 weighted equally as 1/6, 3 as 1/18
